Woman Hijacks 17 Unknown Children In Calabar (see Photos)

Friday morning was a shocking morning for the residents of Asuquo Abasi, a street in Calabar South the Cross River State capital.
A woman (name withheld) believed to be in her early forty and her daughter aged 24 were seen gathering unknown children into an empty room in Asuquo Abasi Street without the knowledge of the parent.
The traditional ruler of the community, HRH Muri Okon Etim Effiong, narrated that as early as 8am in the morning of Friday, good samaritans of the community came to him to report about the unknown children, they narrated that the said woman had been gathering children aged between 11 and 16 years into the neigbourhood in a shattered car, when asked who she was she said she was a messenger of God, with the children she planned starting a church.
Brainnews NG learnt that, As at 9am in the morning of Friday police men of the Cross River State Patrol team were seen in the compound where the children were kept, the suspected woman and her daughter were arrested and some of the children were all taken to the police station.
Till the time of this report the suspected woman and her daughter is yet to make any official statement why they abducted the 17 children
